"This is my review regarding the Ruth Ramos State Farm Agency, and honestly, it shouldn’t be this hard to get basic service.

I have been emailing and calling this agency nonstop trying to get my auto policy reinstated and my driver’s exclusion form submitted—something that should take minutes, not weeks. I made payment back on January 14, 2026, yet here we are.

It started with Jimmy completely ignoring my emails and calls, despite me clearly explaining that due to unforeseen circumstances, I no longer wanted the policy handled this way. Instead of fixing anything, I requested for agent Julia to henceforth handle my Auto Policies, and within a couple of days Julia, who I requested for started doing the exact same thing Jimmy did. Same questions. Over and over. Questions I had already answered multiple times. Just dragging things out for no reason.

This has been going on for about TWO WEEKS. Emails ignored. Phone calls ignored. At this point, it feels intentional. How does an agency take payment for an auto policy and then refuse to reinstate it? What exactly am I paying for?

Is this how Ruth Ramos State Farm Agency operates? Because I seriously doubt I’m the only customer dealing with these delay tactics and complete lack of communication. If you’re considering this agency—don’t. Save yourself the headache.

I NEED my auto policy reinstated TODAY, and I need JULIA to submit my driver’s exclusion form immediately. If this is not handled right away, I will be moving forward with legal action.

This entire experience has been beyond frustrating and completely unacceptable."

"I Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this state farm office. They use tactics to trap you into getting longer policies. I called the end of oct to renew policy. They said i didnt need to pay until the end of nov. I called to renew policy a week after my payment was due. They trued to trap me into getting ANOTHER 6 month policy after they said i can switch to a monthly plan. Because of that they said i would have to pay 3 months of insurance and repay the month that was extended. They dont do anything out of heart or good will. Its a trap!"

"lied to me about my coverage.
Then was told the guy that lied to me was only a secretary and not supposed to be answering those questions.
the only reason I lost my car.
Keeps trying to stall until the statute of limitations.
The agent is never in the office.
I was told Im "hypothetically" covered."

"My family has had home/auto policies with Ruth since she took over the office several years ago. Having moved out of state in 2017, I switched to Farmer’s expecting the same level of service and dedication but it soon became apparent how truly fortunate we were to have Ruth as our agent. Ruth would personally touch base with us at least once, annually, to review our current policies and seek out any cost savings and/ or enhancements that made practical sense. Ruth and her team delivers and they do so with expertise and a certain hometown kindness that I have yet to find elsewhere. Thank you Ruth for taking such good care of our family’s insurance needs. We sure do miss you."
